Best outhouse with a view? I would say the one at Geologist's Cabin in Butte Valley. It is a true "out" house, no walls whatsoever...just sitting out there in front of God and everybody!
And the view down the valley to Mt. Charleston is amazing!! I was just "sitting there" one evening and watched the moon come up over the Mountains, only with the "heat haze" in the air, I couldn't make out the outline of the mountains, so it looked like the moon was hanging in midair with a big chunk out of the bottom of it...like a desert coyote had taken a big bite out of it...
