trespassing on China Lake, Ft Irwin, 29 P

Was wondering what would happen if I got caught trespassing on off limits government property?
25 years ago we would simply be run off when we drove onto Edwards or China Lake. The mines and rock collecting were worth the risk 25 years ago. Now I hear from rumors that the government is alot more uptight with trespassers. Anyone heard any stories?
