It's a great trip. Night time with a full moon is fabulous!!!! At approx 3500', it cools off in winter. I remember building a snow man in the middle of the road at the Race Track parking area. If you've got experience and a worthy vehicle, go there via Hunter Mtn thru Hidden Valley, That's a real nice experience. DD
