What Feeble says is true, way back yonder I drove most of the places mentioned in this forum in two-wheel vehicles and that was common. Most of the time in a four cylinder Toyota pickup, for the more difficult areas I did resort to a VW dune buggy with tractor tires. For the very difficult a group of us had the mighty Hondo 70 motorcycles which were amiable to being hoisted over large boulders with block and tackle. For example, the large round boulder that blocked the way to Marbled Canyon in the northern extension of the Panamints, the Cottonwoods. For that sin I'm sure we would now be shot.
I've consulted with attbi.com and they inform me that I have a web page, something I did not know, take this as a warning.
