Since you have a Caravan in your group and you want to see some cool mining machinery I would recondmend the sites of Skidoo, the Wildrose Charcoal Kilns, and the Borax Museum at Furance Creek. We have explored many sites in Saline and Panamint and Death Valleys and have found ore buckets still hanging on the tram cables and ore cars in and out of mines. Exploring old mines is very dangerous, we do go in, but only with ropes, lights, and back-up lights, air sensors, and a team of friends who are experienced cave and mine explorers, one of which is on the San Bernardino Cave/Mine Rescue Team. Dont go in a mine if you are not experienced! So remember, if you ever get the urge to go inside a mine or brothel; Remember "STAY OUT STAY ALIVE"! -Lewis
